Family Practice Physician Job Description
Nurses Etc Staffing is seeking qualified Family Practice Physicians to join our team in support of Portsmouth Naval Hospital. Various locations are available, including Boone, Oceana, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, BHC Northwest, and Suffolk.
Job Summary
We offer excellent compensation, malpractice insurance, and schedule flexibility for part-time and PRN positions. Any active medical license from a state in the United States is accepted in this government facility.
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada.
- Graduate of an internship and residency program approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or the Committee on Postdoctoral Training of the American Osteopathic Association.
- Board eligible or board certified in Family Practice.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine.
- A minimum of one year of Family Practice experience within the preceding two years.
