We are seeking a dedicated Med-Surg Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a 12-bed unit with an overflow patient capacity. The nurse will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and developing patient care plans, ensuring the highest standards of professional nursing practice. This role requires collaboration with ancillary staff and the patient care team to provide quality care to infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement total nursing care plans
- Monitor patients using telemetry equipment
- Care for patients with various conditions, including heart failure, diabetes, and gastrointestinal diseases.
- Maintain professional nursing standards and patient safety
- Work in a 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio, depending on acuity
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Oklahoma (Required)
- NIH Certification (Currently holds or willing to obtain) – Required
- Minimum of 6 months nursing experience – Required
- BSN – Preferred
