Schedule :
- 3x12 hour days, Mon-Wed Schedule 7pm to 7am or 7am to 7pm with call Wed 7am to next Wed at 7am(3x12 plus call each week)
EXPERIENCE :
Performs diagnostic CT exams of the head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremities. Places IVs for contrast injections. Follows protocols set by the radiologist. Receives patient, explains the procedure, and creates a safe environment for the patient through good communication skills.Radiography. Performs diagnostic x-ray examinations including spine, extremities, head chest, and abdomen. Follows standard positions and views prescribed by radiologists. Assists radiologists with fluoroscopic procedures. Performs bone density tests. Receives patients, explains procedures, and utilizes standardized techniques, settings, and positions to accomplish acceptable results.Office Duties. Performs office jobs in a small department including, but not limited to : answering phones, scheduling patients exams, printing reports, retrieving charts, researching problems, ordering supplies, and helping radiologists and providers.Responsible for QA and QC for NPVMC imaging modalities. Documents : patient exposure time to radiation, amount of contrast administered, exam performed, and other information as required by the Joint Commission regulations.REQUIREMENTS
Graduation from an accredited Radiography School2 years experience in Radiography1-year experience in CT preferredAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certifiedCT certification RequiredSTATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
