Position Description
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a POTENTIAL opportunity for a civilian LPN/LVN for PACT & Specialty Clinics at the Savannah VA Clinic- Savannah, GA.
Position offers:
- Full-time opportunity | 40 hours per week
- Outpatient setting

Job Requirements:
- Degree/Education: Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by a state agency or accredited by the ACEN
- Experience: A minimum of 24 months of experience in an outpatient acute care (hospital based), or ambulatory care setting within the last 24 months.
- Active, unrestricted nursing license in any state
- BLS/ACLS from the American Heart Association
Duties:
- Contractor nurses may be utilized as needed in the Acute Care Medical/Surgical areas, in ambulatory/outpatient care clinics, and outpatient lab
- Knowledge and skill sufficient to prepare, administer, and appropriately document actions taken specific to commonly prescribed oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and/or intravenous medications as permitted by approved local facilitypolicies and procedures. Observation and documentation will include patient's response to medication administered and the reporting of any noted change in patient's condition to RN or MD/DO.
- Demonstrated ability to serve as a responsible member of the nursing team and interact [in an appropriate manner] with patients, family members, professional and [other] supportive personnel [involved in the delivery of] patient care, incorporating acceptable, established customer service standards into practice
