Now hiring: Nurse Educator
Position Summary:
You will be collaborating closely with Senior Management, and if you're passionate about making a difference while crafting exciting and interactive webinars and educational materials, this role could be the perfect match for you! As the leader of our education department, you'll utilize platforms like Zoom, social media, and more to captivate our target audience.
Your key responsibilities will include developing fresh and innovative webinars, managing our CRM database, building customer relationships, and training and supervising staff. You’ll also oversee product training, respond to service requests, and carry out follow-ups to ensure continuous improvement. Supporting other departments will be vital to our collective success, and your primary goal will be to create educational programs that incorporate the latest insights while keeping our social media presence lively and engaging.
You’ll have the opportunity to deliver education both in-person and virtually, all while providing timely feedback to enhance staff performance. Your focus will be on developing class content that reflects current methodologies, fosters ongoing interest, and delivers meaningful education to our participants. It’s important to tailor educational materials to satisfy our clients’ specific needs and align with industry trends through comprehensive research, effective collaboration with team members, and nurturing an environment that encourages reaching our goals.
In this role, you will also design and evaluate engaging educational activities and projects that include evidence-based content. Employing reliable assessment methods to monitor program outcomes will be essential, as will incorporating feedback from learners to refine materials based on the data gathered. You will play a pivotal role in promoting our products and services, generating leads for the sales department, and nurturing relationships with various participants and community education programs. Ethical considerations will be at the heart of your educational practice, ensuring that everything you do contributes to a responsible and enriching learning experience.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Degree in nursing. Minimum of one (1) year nurse educator experience or two (2) years of nursing leadership experience preferred. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
LOCATION/FACILITY: Private Company, Kansas City, KS
SPECIALITY/DEPARTMENT PRACTICE: NICU and or Labor and Delivery experience
SHIFT/SCHEDULE: On-site, Monday-Friday with availability to occasionally travel for Trade Shows, Seminars, and on-site customer support training
