Nurse Manager (Resident Care Director)

This is a 12-week contract (9a-5p) Monday through Friday | Strong Probability of Perm

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Resident Care Director is responsible for the overall implementation, delivery and coordination of Resident Care services at the Community level with our client. Will also assist in monitoring the medication management program and other regulatory compliance as required per governing state regulation and conduct QA audits.  As well as oversee all nursing staff, aides and related personnel

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• The following essential functions are the fundamental job duties of the position to be completed with or without appropriate reasonable accommodation.
• Assist in supervising the medication program and assist residents with self-administration of their medication.
• Maintain positive relations with residents, families and physicians.
• Conduct community QA Audits and work to develop respective QI recommendations.
• Report any significant incidents and / or changes in the residents needs to the Executive Director / Resident Care Director.
• Assist in the completion of resident assessments and services plans.
• Assist in the training of Resident Care staff and in orientation of new staff.
• Attend and participate in scheduled in-service programs, training programs and staff meetings.
• Assist with supporting and leading Resident Care Assistants with clinical questions.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Salary : $45 - $55
