Certification Details BLS ACLS NIHSS Job Details 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS - Please only submit candidates that are aware of their submission to our facility. 13 weeks assignment, 2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry / progressive care unit required. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. Job Requirements Active NM or compact license required. At least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist / competency assessment required. Traveler must provide or pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia / Dysrhythmia Assessment (BCA) exam prior to or during first week of assignment. Schedule Information 12 hour Day shift position - start time 0700. 4 Weekend shifts in a 4 week scheduling period - Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Unit Specific Information Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Additional Details NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024) Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position. State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico. ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED / AGENCY SUSPENDED (creates I.T. onboarding issues).
