Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Details Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients. Coordinates patients care through collaboration with the patient / family and healthcare team. Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician, or standard protocols and documents according to policy. Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. Job Requirements At least one 13-week previous travel assignment required. Two (2) years current experience required in specialty. Schedule Information 12-hour Night Shift; start time 1900. Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required, per staff rotation. Unit Specific Information EMR : EPIC experience preferred, but not required; can train on-site. Orientation : 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. Scrubs : Required and not provided by the facility. May wear ANY solid color. Additional Details NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS. Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position. State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice.
