Job Details
75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE / RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS
Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
Will float to med / surg, ICU, and ED as needed
12 hour varied shift position
On call, weekends and holidays required
Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location
Job Requirements
Active NM or compact license required
2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry / progressive care unit
Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment
Include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist / competency assessment
Schedule Information
Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs
Ratios 1 : 4 will go 1 : 5 / 6 if needed based on acuity of patients
Orientation : 1ST week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, includes EPIC training
Unit Specific Information
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed
Scrubs required and NOT provided by the facility
Additional Details
NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024)
Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked
