Certification Details BLS PALS ACLS Job Details 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS 13 weeks assignment, 2 years experience current required in large OR. Ortho, ENT, and / or vascular experience a plus. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. Job Requirements Active NM or compact license required. At least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist / competency assessment. Schedule Information 12-hour varied shift position - Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call (15 days per month with 2 weekends included), weekends (2 weekends per month minimum) and holidays required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Unit Specific Information Orientation is the first week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training (Epic test out available if Epic has been used in the last six months). Scrubs : Required but not provided by facility. Additional Details NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024) Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position. State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico. ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED / AGENCY SUSPENDED (creates I.T. onboarding issues).
