NTSOC is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated nurse with strong leadership abilities to join our team as the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for our Clinical Services Department. As ADON, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee all nursing and IHSS services, providing guidance to the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care to our clients.

Essential Functions:
- Ability to cross train as Director of Nursing (DON) position and to fill that position when the DON is not available.
- Provide direct supervision over the Clinical Services Nurse Supervisor, IHSS RN Supervisor, and administrative RNs.
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the clinical services department, ensuring compliance with all regulations, policies, and best practices.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to the nursing staff, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to succeed.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement strategies for improving client care and department efficiency.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and professional development of new and existing nursing department staff members.
- Facilitate communication between clients, families, and staff members, addressing concerns promptly and ensuring high-quality care and client satisfaction.
- Assist with ongoing education and training opportunities for nursing staff, including new hire orientation, skill development, and in-service education.
- Assist with chart audits for the quarterly Quality Committee meetings, ensuring compliance with documentation standards and identifying areas for improvement in client care.
- Ensure that nursing services are provided in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Cross train in all other clinical positions when requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Minimum Experience: Minimum of 5 years of home health care experience required and a minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership experience in home health or similar healthcare setting required. Strong communication and computer skills required.
Licenses/Certifications: Colorado RN license in good standing with the Department of Regulatory Agencies. BLS required. Up to date car insurance and drivers license will be required.

Working Conditions:
This is an office-based position, with working hours from Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. May complete visits to client homes as needed. May be exposed to occupational hazards such as communicable diseases, harmful chemicals, and/or disoriented or combative clients. Must be able to work under stress and be emotionally capable of coping with changes in activity.
