NTSOC is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated nurse with strong leadership abilities to join our team as the RN IHSS Supervisor for our Clinical Services Department. As the RN IHSS Supervisor, you will work closely with the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee and develop NTSOCs IHSS programs.

Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the development and implementation of all IHSS services, including but not limited to health maintenance activities, personal care worker services, and homemaker services for both pediatric and adult clients.
- Responsible for collaborating with the DON, ADON, and compliance on policy and procedure development for all services related to IHSS.
- Provides comprehensive review of needs for all patients with potential eligible hours of services and continued eligibility.
- Oversee the delivery of IHSS to clients, ensuring services meet regulatory and organizational standards.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to nursing staff involved in IHSS, ensuring they adhere to care protocols and provide high-quality care.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of individualized care plans for clients, ensuring that nursing needs are met and that plans are updated regularly.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs, assisting in the evaluation of patient outcomes and making recommendations for improvement.
- Assist with chart audits for the quarterly Quality Committee meetings, ensuring compliance with documentation standards and identifying areas for improvement in client care.
- May manage a partial case load of clients receiving clinical nursing services.
- Responsible for the training and skills validation checkoffs for onboarding IHSS staff.
- Provides direct supervision for IHSS Field Nurse Case Managers.
- Consults with the client or authorized representative to troubleshoot any concerns with staff or concerns related to treatment plans.
- Provides periodic onsite supervision to all IHSS workers in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Acts as a consultant to other agency staff and is knowledgeable in problem resolution, skills validation, and ability to review clients satisfaction with services rendered.
- Be available for questions from IHSS workers with a working knowledge of skilled verses unskilled care.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Minimum Experience: Minimum of 3 years of home health care experience required and a minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership experience in home health or similar healthcare setting required. IHSS experience preferred. Strong communication and computer skills required.
Licenses/Certifications: Colorado RN license in good standing with the Department of Regulatory Agencies. BLS required. Up to date car insurance and drivers license will be required.

Working Conditions:
This is an office-based position, with working hours from Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. May complete visits to client homes as needed. May be exposed to occupational hazards such as communicable diseases, harmful chemicals, and/or disoriented or combative clients. Must be able to work under stress and be emotionally capable of coping with changes in activity.
