Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the nursing staff and ensure adherence to best practices, policies, and procedures on assigned units.
- Achieve key performance metrics related to compliance, patient safety, staff engagement, and satisfaction.
- Allocate staff assignments based on competencies to guarantee high-quality patient care.
- Mentor and coach nursing staff to promote professional growth and improve patient care outcomes.
- Participate actively in patient rounding to support and develop the nursing team.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and resolve patient/customer satisfaction issues.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain high standards of practice.
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding of nursing staff, contributing to evaluations and performance management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience with a preference for Emergency Nursing.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN License and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time Position: 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week), dayshift with direct reports.
- Pay: Competitive hourly rate ranging from $93,000 to $146,000 based on experience. Sign-on and relocation bonuses available for ideal candidates.
