Job Title: Audiologist
Position Summary:
Join our healthcare team as an Audiologist, where you'll play a vital role in diagnosing hearing impairments and providing habilitation and rehabilitation services to patients. In this position, you will conduct comprehensive audiological assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to improve hearing-related issues. We are looking for an experienced professional who can utilize both in-person and telemedicine modalities to deliver exceptional patient care while managing operational responsibilities within the department.
Position Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s Degree in Audiology.
- Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in audiology is preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) or an equivalent certification.
- Current, valid state license to practice audiology.
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in utilizing telemedicine tools and technology.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and oversee the department’s budget effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations to diagnose hearing impairments.
- Develop and implement individualized habilitation and rehabilitation treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Educate patients on hearing conservation and rehabilitation techniques.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and the Specialty Clinic to ensure optimal patient care.
- Work jointly with the Specialty Clinic to share an office assistant, including involvement in hiring, training, and evaluating the assistant alongside the Specialty Clinic Supervisor.
