Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures while ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Monitor vital signs and physiological responses during anesthesia administration and throughout the surgical process.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments prior to anesthesia, including reviewing medical history and current medications.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop anesthesia care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Utilize Epic or similar electronic health record systems for accurate documentation of patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding anesthesia procedures and post-operative care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in anesthesia techniques and critical care standards.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) from an accredited program.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, and critical care practices.
- Experience in an ICU or critical care setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in assessing pediatric patients is a plus.
- Ability to effectively monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff and patient interaction.
