Job Description:
Join our dedicated team as a Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technician at a leading medical center located in Abilene/Brownwood, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about cardiovascular diagnostics and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all diagnostic cardiovascular procedures associated with Non-Invasive Cardiology.
- Master the use of various diagnostic equipment, including ultrasound systems, PVR, BP monitors, and computer systems.
- Attend mandatory training programs, staff meetings, and complete computer-based learning modules.
- Provide supervision and guidance in training junior staff as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of hands-on training or graduation from an accredited ultrasound school.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Required: RDCS or RCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) in adult echocardiography.
- Required: RVT or RVS (Registered Vascular Technologist) in vascular ultrasound or a combination of these certifications.
- BLS Certification: Must complete before initiating patient contact.
Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional technical skills in cardiovascular ultrasound procedures.
- Strong supervisory abilities with experience in training and teaching.
- Proficient in utilizing diagnostic equipment and software for patient assessments.
- Ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide outstanding patient care.

- Travel: Willingness to travel is required.
