Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage emergency services to ensure high-quality patient care
- Oversee department operations, staffing, and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Foster a collaborative and efficient team environment
- Implement best practices to enhance patient comfort and safety
- Monitor and improve departmental performance metrics
Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred. MSN or Master’s in a healthcare-related field is a plus
- Experience: Two or more years of progressive hospital management experience as a manager or charge nurse. Three to five years of relevant emergency room leadership experience
- Certifications:
- Active RN license in California (required)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) within one year of hire
