About The Position
Position Purpose: The purpose of this position is to guide active, warm prospective Institute student leads and their support community through the entire Admissions life cycle with the intent of ultimately enrolling them in an Institute program of study.
Responsibilities: The team member in this position must exhibit certain characteristics and perform specific duties during their daily or weekly routine. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Demonstrate a strong understanding that the salon/spa industry is “high touch” and
requires strong interpersonal skills and attention to the needs of others

Monitor institutional compliance of all federal, state, and institutional financial aid
programs including federal Pell grants and state grant programs
-
Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure equitable and fair treatment
of all students
-
Determine student financial aid eligibility through needs analysis and verify applicant
data
-
Coordinate disbursement of aid to students with Accounts Receivable function to
provide for timely posting and accurate reconciliation
-
Oversee computer operations of the department relating to financial aid packaging,
document tracking, and aid processing
-
Participate in prospective student and general aid counseling on a regular basis
-
Participate in all audit and program reviews; resolve any findings to the satisfaction of
the audit team
-
Demonstrate a strong knowledge of principles and practices of financial aid
administration
-
Understand and adhere to the sensitive nature of personal financial matters, the
requirements of the Family Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, and the confidentiality of
business carried on in the financial aid department

Work closely with Support Center and on-campus Financial Aid, Admissions, and
Student Success teams

Perform duties as assigned and/or required to meet business needs

Abide by all other Nurtur policies and procedures as outlined in the Team Member
Handbook and Code of Conduct
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: The team member in this position must exhibit certain educational and experiential requirements, including:

High school diploma or GED equivalent and 2 years relevant work experience
-
Have a positive and encouraging attitude, be welcoming and engaging with students
and fellow team members

Ability and desire to handle high volume of inbound and outbound communications
with excellent etiquette and strong attention to detail
-
Must be able to clearly and confidently speak and write while reading from a script
-
Must be knowledgeable about all campuses and their respective program offerings
and tuition costs

Ability to work at a fast pace, multi-task, and adapt to change
-
Demonstrate professionalism in manner, dress, and conduct
-
Ability to follow best practices to meet goals set forth by leadership

Desire to serve others and create unparalleled experiences

Strong computer and technology skills required (Internet, email, Salesforce, Five9,
chat/IM, Contact Center platforms, etc.)

Available to work evenings and weekends
