About the Role:
NurtureHaven Nannies & Co. is hiring dependable, nurturing babysitters to join our trusted on-call sitter team. As a W-2 employee, you'll provide high-quality in-home care to families needing date night coverage, backup care, or short-notice help. This flexible role is perfect for caregivers who want to work around their schedule while maintaining high professional standards.
What You'll Do:
- Babysit for children ages 6 months and up in family homes
- Follow routines including meals, bedtime, and playtime
- Communicate clearly with families and agency staff
- Maintain a calm, reliable, and professional presence in every home
- Represent NurtureHaven's values of trust, care, and excellence
Optional Opportunities for Interested Sitters:
Let us know during onboarding if you'd like to be considered for specialty bookings, such as:
- Event childcare (weddings, corporate events, church care)
- Hotel or vacation babysitting for traveling families
- Overnight care (paid flat rate hourly for awake time)
These opportunities offer additional earning potential and are matched based on sitter availability and interest.
Requirements:
- 2 years of childcare experience (babysitting, nannying, teaching, etc.)
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Recent physical exam (within 12 months)
- Willing to provide vaccination status:
- MMR, Tdap, Flu, and COVID-19 (preferred)
- Must pass a full background and reference check
- Reliable transportation in the MetroWest area
- Weekend or evening availability is a plus

Placement Timeline Note:
