Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced full-time analyst & manager to join our team as the leader of our Data & Analytics function. You will be responsible for deriving insights from data and conveying conclusions to stakeholders to drive strategy and decision-making across a range of business areas. You will be an advisor, consultant, project manager, data analyst, and leader of data practices at the organization.
We’re seeking a highly motivated candidate to lead Nurture Life’s central data function, combining strategic leadership with deep technical expertise to drive business outcomes.
Qualifications
- You have 3 years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, business analyst, or similar role
- Strong business acumen and experience and interest in using data to solve business problems
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau) and programming languages such as SQL
- Experience with data collection and site analytics tools, such as Heap or Google Analytics
- Strong Google Sheets or Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with a desire to learn
- Very detail-oriented and thoughtful when executing a task or initiative
- Adept at figuring out how things work, or how to get things done when a solution isn’t obvious or involves multiple steps or tools
- Strong communication skills to convey results of analyses and describe data visualizations to stakeholders who are less familiar with technical presentations of information
- Ability to navigate through ambiguity, confidently make decisions in uncertain situations, and adapt quickly to changing business needs
- Experience with data warehousing tools (e.g. Google BigQuery) and ETL tools (e.g. Fivetran)
