Job Summary:
The Floating Child Care Provider is a flexible, adaptable team member who supports all classrooms and age groups as needed throughout the day. This position requires someone who is dependable, quick to adjust, and enjoys working with children of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide coverage in various classrooms during staff breaks, absences, or busy times
- Assist lead teachers with activities, routines, and supervision * Step into different age groups (infants through preschool) with confidence and consistency
- Support classroom transitions and help maintain daily schedules * Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and communicate effectively with staff
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Experience working with children in a childcare setting (preferred)
- Ability to work with multiple age groups * Flexibility, reliability, and a strong sense of initiative
