LVN Nurse

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including nursing homes, medical offices, and Level I Trauma Centers. The LVN will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of patients, particularly in inpatient environments. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and a commitment to patient advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with basic life support procedures when necessary.
• Provide care for patients using neonatal ventilators as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Participate in case management activities to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.

Experience

• Previous experience in a nursing home or inpatient setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical office operations is a plus.
• Experience with case management systems is advantageous.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Knowledge of neonatal ventilator operation is beneficial but not mandatory.
