Essential Functions
- Review all Child Care Financial Assistant authorization documents for accuracy (Act as a secondary reviewer).
- Weekly or Monthly audit of parent fees assessment and its input into Procare or current CCMS
- Monthly parent fees reconciliation between the State billing system (CCFA) and Procare or the current CCMS and share the result with the enrollment team with recommendations
- Run Tuition Express payment reports in Procare and reconcile to the Bank statement
- Prepare parent fees cash receipts for processing.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of food Invoices and statements and prepare food expenses Journal Entry
- Perform a monthly review of FCC providers union (SEIU) status in CCFA. This must be reconciled against payroll deduction of union dues.
- Process A/P Invoices as needed.
- Maintain the monthly units billed worksheet from all billings.
- Assist the department during Audits as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-2 years of general accounting experience.
- Thorough knowledge of automated and manual general accounting systems, including a full understanding of the Chart of Accounts
- Strong financial analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
