POSITION SUMMARY:The Procurement Agent supports the Manager, Procurement by performing contracting and procurement activities necessary to support the lifecycle of purchase orders and contracts in accordance with established policies and procedures. The scope of these purchase orders and contract includes, but is not limited to, the following functional areas: accounting, finance, sales & marketing, human resources, engineering, and IT/Software.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assists Procurement personnel in drafting, evaluating, negotiating and executing contracts, including but not limited to, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Subcontracts, Consulting Agreements, Master Services Agreements, Task Orders, and Purchase Orders.
  • Performs supplier profile analysis and supplier capability analysis.
  • Ensures suppliers complete and return documents associated with RFPs, purchase orders, and contracts.
  • Compiles and manages procurement documentation in accordance with document control requirements.
  • Loads procurement data into the Enterprise Resource Planning system.
  • Interfaces with ordering departments to ensure scope and technical requirements are clearly specified.Facilitates discussions with ordering departments and suppliers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Quality Assurance: Commits to the understanding and implementation of quality assurance regulations, standards, and guidelines of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.

Minimum Skills, Qualifications And Abilities

  • Education:A minimum of a B.S. degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or related field of study required.
  • Experience:Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of procurement execution.Experience in the nuclear industry is preferred.
  • Industry Requirements:Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.

Pay And Benefits

The target pay range for this position is $29.10 - $35.12 hourly.The full pay range is $26.09 - $40.81 hourly.

At NuScale, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, full-time working experience, education and training, equity within the department.
