We are currently seeking an Enterprise Risk Specialist to join our Risk Management team. In this role you will support vendor management and risk activities of the Credit Union in accordance with established policies and procedures. You will comply with Nusenda's overall Enterprise Risk Management program (ERM). You can expect to conduct, monitor or coordinate risk-based vendor reviews. You will update management on program status along with emerging risks and vendor concerns. You will be responsible for supporting the development and administration of the credit union’s vendor and risk management systems and reporting needs.
What you'll do:
- Perform various activities of the Third-Party vendor management program.
- Work with vendor owners to determine criticality of vendors/products.
- Request and review vendor’s Due Diligence documents and prepare reports.
- Schedule meetings with vendor owners to complete the Due Diligence process within established timeframes.
- Review VendSure due diligence risk reports with Cybersecurity Director and requests additional supporting information on High and Medium risks from vendors.
- Work with Cybersecurity on SOC reviews.
- Prepare monthly VendorPoint reports on vendor management activities and status.
- When requested completes contract reviews.
- Enter new vendors, products and executed contracts into VendorPoint for tracking.
- Create and maintain electronic archive of contracts, as needed, and maintains vendor’s due diligence documentation.
- Monitor vendor contracts, requests vendor owner approval for renewals and updates VendorPoint as outlined in the Vendor Management Program.
- Maintain VendorPoint software system, reporting issues to management.
- Monitor VendorPoint software, recommending changes for improvement and efficiency.
- Provide feedback to management regarding vendor management functions for process improvement and efficiency.
What you'll need:
- Three to five years of similar or related experience
- Associate's degree in business administration, or related field
Key Skills and Experience:
- Ability to understand contracts and articulate key elements.
- Experience utilizing vendor management and risk management software is desired (VendorPoint, Apogee IQ and Tandem).
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
- Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, deal with sensitive information and handle problem resolution.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external customers appropriately via in person, email etc.
- Experience in multi-tasking, meeting strict deadlines, dealing with sensitive information, and problem resolution while providing exceptional service.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and departmental systems (VendorPoint, Apogee iQ).
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and proactively communicate.
