We are currently seeking a Facility Technician to join our organization. As a Facility Technician at Nusenda, you will be responsible for providing general maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and installation support for the Credit Union's facilities as assigned by supervisor. You will assure facility is maintained in a professional and functional manner. You will serve as a department resource for technical and day-to-day operations.
To thrive in this role, you should have one to three years of similar or related experience and the equivalent to a two‑year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school. This position is one part general maintenance and one part problem solving. This might be the role for you if you enjoy work requiring attention to detail, independence, critical thinking, and time management.
Key Skills and Experience:
- General maintenance experience is desired, with knowledge in a given specialty area such as Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing.
- Ability to develop and maintain cross-functional relationships to support departmental programs and coordinates effectively.
- Performs daily general maintenance duties: including but not limited to cleaning, painting, drywall, stucco, grounds keeping, changing light bulbs and ballasts, moving furniture, boxes, etc., setting up for special events, building checks for security, etc.
- Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.
- Proficient in written skills and Microsoft Office programs to include Excel, Word, and Outlook is preferred.
- Ability to lead and train others as necessary.
