We are Currently Seeking a Sr. Investment Advisor to join our team! As an Sr. Investment Provider, you will provide a value-added service to credit union members regarding investment advice and counsel. You will conduct needs assessments with members to understand their current financial position and financial goals. You will present, open, and service investment, insurance, and/or retirement products. You will act in the best interest of the member regarding product and service options. You will conduct regularly scheduled portfolio reviews with clients to monitor client progress toward financial goals. You will develop member referral sources from credit union departments, Select Employer Groups, and in the community.
To thrive in this role, you should have three to five years financial product sales experience and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Series 7, 63 and 65/66, Current State of New Mexico and Texas Life and Health Insurance License, Variable Insurance Products License and registration.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Interview members/clients to determine financial position, resources, and assets available to invest towards financial goals.
- Counsel clients on purchase or sale of securities, financial/insurance services and investment plans in or separate from a retirement plan.

Service client inquiries by effectively working with operations support personnel at vendors and broker-dealer to ensure a high quality service and member satisfaction.
- Prospect for potential clients using advertising/marketing campaigns, seminars, mailing lists, personal contacts, referrals, center of influence, etc.
- Refer members/clients who need credit union products and services to the correct department or person
- Create, maintain, and retain client files with appropriate information and in accordance with FINRA and SIPC compliance standards, broker-dealer policy, and OSJ requirement.

Maintain all securities and insurance licenses current through successful completion of Continuing Education (CE) requirements.
