We are currently seeking a Community Relations Specialist to join our organization. As the Community Relations Specialist, you'll perform administrative and program support of Community Engagement and the Nusenda Foundation, track internal and external funding, sponsorships, and grant programs. you'll act as the primary point of contact for fund recipients and community organizations and compile data for reports, schedule appointments/meetings, prepare expense reports, and other general administrative requirements. You'll be the primary administrator for Benevity, the credit union and Foundation grant, reporting, and management system while supporting programs such as Adopt-A-Cause, Community Rewards and Community Day.
To thrive in this role, you should have three to five years of similar or related experience and an Bachelors degree in Business Administration. This position is one part administration and one part project management. This might be the role for you if you enjoy work requiring attention to detail, time management, interpersonal skills, and event coordination.

Key Skills And Experience
- Ability to develop and maintain cross functional relationships to support departmental programs and coordinate effectively.
- Public speaking experience. Experience with CRM technology, credit union, and community engagement specific product/service offerings preferred.
- Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, deal with sensitive information and handle problem resolution.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external customers appropriately via in person, email etc.
- Experience in multi-tasking, meeting strict deadlines, dealing with sensitive information, and problem resolution while providing exceptional service.
- Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and all internal systems affiliated with the department.
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and proactively communicate.
