We are currently seeking a Financial Wellbeing Specialist to join our team at Nusenda Credit Union. In this position you'll be responsible for working with the Financial Wellbeing Manager in developing and delivering financial education presentations. You will support ongoing development and implementation of Nusenda Credit Union’s financial capability resources while creating and maintaining partnerships within linguistically and economically diverse communities. Additionally, you will offer assistance in financial capability through training, workshops, special projects and events while supporting management in updating and maintaining financial capability courses, and administering online financial education systems.
To thrive in this role, you should have one to three years of similar or related experience and an Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Education, Communications, Organizational Learning, Finance or related field. This position is one-part financial education delivery and one part developing/maintaining partnerships in schools and with community partners. This might be the role for you if you enjoy problem solving, project management/planning, creativity, and public speaking/presenting.
Key Skills and Experience:
Ability to develop and leverage community relationships with schools, community organizations, and select employer groups to grow the financial capability program through targeted outreach.
Knowledge in organizing and participating in community events, workshops, and presentations to promote financial capability.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service by supporting related inquiries and requests via phone and email while collecting program feedback from community members and stakeholders via surveys and shares with Financial Wellbeing Manager.
Experience in presenting at community events, promoting, supporting, collaborating with internal groups to enhance financial literacy and member education efforts.
Ability to support select employer groups, community partners, and members in accessing financial capability resources, including web-based resources, presentation requests, and customized materials.
- Able to develop curriculum for varying levels and topics based on partners’ requirements and needs.
