We are currently looking for a Vice President Business Services Officer . In this role you'll be responsible for the development of new and existing business relationships, generating a high quality, well-structured, and profitable commercial loan portfolio and collaborating on associated deposit relationships. You will act as a senior level loan officer in alignment with the Credit Union's target markets, industries and products. You'll manage assigned loan portfolios to ensure superior service levels and to monitor changes in credit quality. You'll Provide training and mentorship to junior loan officers and members of the support teams as needed. Consult on organizational project teams, as necessary, for the development and implementation of new business products and services.
To thrive in this role, you should have eight to ten years of similar or related business services experience and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field. This position is equal parts attention to detail, and sound judgement. This might be the role for you if you enjoy working in a role requiring high level decision making, problem solving and development and lending acumen.

- Technical and Business Services Aptitude, Problem Solving, Judgment, Planning, Selling, Public Speaking, Presentation Skills.
- Ability to meet loan growth goals through the execution of business development strategies, focused on growing both new and existing business relationships for the Credit Union. Responsible for actively calling new prospects, maintaining relationships with existing members, identifying cross-selling opportunities, utilizing networks to develop referral sources. Stay informed of current trends affecting financial services industry and participate in the departmental strategic planning and execution to position the Credit Union for the future.
- Able to support Business Services department by managing portfolio of existing relationships. Manage the construction loan draw process. Acts as the primary point of contact for members, ensuring compliance with terms of the loan agreement (repayment, taxes, insurance, financial reporting, etc.), and ensuring the timely completion of annual loan reviews. Maintain all documentation, pertinent communications, and negotiated terms within the CRM system. Manage the construction loan draw process. Travel for site inspections of collateral and business operations.
- Able to ensure completion of loan application and underwriting processes for new requests, including pre-screening loan opportunities, interviewing loan applicants, collecting financial packages, and negotiating structures to achieve adequate returns and mitigate risk for the Credit Union. Oversee and collaborate on the preparation and review of credit memorandums and presenting requests for approval.
- Represent the organization at community events promoting our organization as a preferred financial institution and workplace.
- Keep management informed of pending items and key issues affecting employees, members or workplace.

- Development, performance management, training, and employee counseling skills essential.
- Must have in-depth understanding of and ability to manage multiple business units and generate both immediate and long-term results.
- Experienced in Microsoft technologies to include Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365.
