Duties
- Perform various surgical procedures, including dental implant placement with precision and care.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during surgeries.
- Document all medical procedures accurately in medical records and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
- Collaborate effectively with oral surgery clinic staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Implement four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency during surgical procedures.
- Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups for patients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy relevant to surgical practices.
- Utilize Practice Management software for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
- Provide specialized care in pediatric dentistry when necessary.
Experience
Candidates should have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, along with relevant residency training. Must have an ACTIVE state license in Missouri to practice as a specialist in oral surgery. Experience in oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, or related fields is required. Familiarity with medical documentation practices and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
