CADD Designer – Entry Level
Nussbaumer & Clarke, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detailed-orientated individual to join our team as an Entry- Level AutoCAD Civil 3D Designer. A successful candidate will work closely with our engineering team to assist in the design and drafting of civil engineering projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D software. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to kick-start their career in civil engineering design.
Education
- 2-year degree in a related field (preferred)
- Open to either a new graduate or experienced staff
- Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D software (preferred)
- Experience or education in the A/C/E industry is preferred, however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate well verbally and through written correspondence.
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Capable of collaborating effectively with other team members; this involves communication, cooperation, and the ability to contribute positively to group efforts.
- Able to work autonomously when necessary; this means being self-motivated, able to manage time effectively, and capable of completing tasks without constant supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to respond quickly to changing priorities; this includes the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Dedication to continuous learning and professional growth, ensuring alignment with the latest industry trends and best practices.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Responsibilities
· Assist in the preparation of detailed civil engineering drawings and plans using Auto CAD Civil 3D software.
· Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure project design requirements are met.
· Collaborate and share ideas with senior level staff on projects.
· Assist with civil, environmental, site, and structural drafting.
· Prepare design sketches of moderate to complex site layouts and building plans.
· Coordinate with all other team members on project assignments.
· Actively engage in project and team meetings, ensuring collaboration and contributing insights to the collective processes.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
