Job Overview:
The Architectural Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining existing retail accounts, driving new business through walk-ins, referrals, and trade leads, and supporting sales growth within the company. This role involves managing daily sales activities, tracking leads and jobs, submitting sales reports, and offering professional consulting to clients. The position also requires a strong focus on maintaining positive relationships with trade customers, managing showroom duties, and providing accurate quotes and estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain existing retail accounts, ensuring consistent service and satisfaction.
- Handle new business opportunities through walk-ins, referrals, and trade leads.
- Actively participate in daily meetings to discuss all incoming leads and jobs.
- Submit a Sales & Leads Report weekly before the sales meeting (via MONDAY.COM).
- Input all leads, jobs, and customer details into the CRM database (MONDAY.COM) and follow up promptly.
- Achieve sales goals with the support of internal office staff and CRM tools, ensuring forecasts are met.
- Receive and act on leads and job opportunities provided by the company and its affiliated groups.
- Service existing trade customers including architects, designers, contractors, and developers.
- Build and maintain relationships with B2B and B2C clients, fostering long-term business growth.
- Conduct showroom product presentations for trade customers and walk-ins.
- Quote and estimate all jobs as needed, including reading and conducting floor plan take-offs.
- Provide accurate and timely quotes for door products and services, ensuring industry terms and standards are understood.
- Visit job sites as needed to field measure and support post-sale processes (with additional technical support provided when necessary).
Showroom Duties:
- Handle walk-ins professionally and efficiently, providing expert advice and solutions.
- Collaborate with kitchen sales/design staff to offer doors and additional product services to customers.
- Present all door product offerings, including new lines, and manage product displays and samples.
- Work closely with affiliated companies to ensure all product offerings are fully represented.
Trade Customer Duties:
- Service our existing architects, designers, contractors, and developers to maintain relationships and drive repeat business.
- Build and expand new relationships with trade professionals, contributing to long-term business growth in the territory.
- Call on trade professionals as needed to discuss project needs and potential opportunities.
- Invite trade customers to showroom for product presentations and demonstrations.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
- A degree in architecture, interior design, or a related field.
- Punctual, well-organized, and persistent.
- Strong ethical standards and professionalism in all interactions.
- An excellent listener with the ability to quickly grasp new concepts.
- Goal-driven with strong motivation to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
