Job Description Summary:
The Data Integration and Automation Specialist is responsible for supporting all company employees with their technological needs, creating and customizing reports using various systems, automating data transfers, and ensuring data integrity across multiple platforms. This role involves creating client reporting literature for the company's portfolio managers and working with the team to understand their needs and make data useful.
The Data Integration and Automation Specialist is responsible for supporting all company employees with their technological needs, creating and customizing reports using various systems, automating data transfers, and ensuring data integrity across multiple platforms. This role involves creating client reporting literature for the company's portfolio managers and working with the team to understand their needs and make data useful.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide frontline technical support to all company employees.
- Create and customize reports using SQL, Excel, SSRS, and various proprietary systems.
- Automate data transfers between databases and systems across multiple platforms, including working with CSB file transfers.
- Fix bad data and update APX as necessary.
- Confirm reports are running and are accurate.
- Ensure data integrity across all systems.
- Work with the team to understand their reporting needs and make data useful.
- Create client reporting literature for portfolio managers.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in data integration and automation, with a strong emphasis on SQL report writing and development.
- Strong understanding of SQL, VBScript, and other relational database languages.
- Proficiency in Excel, SSRS, Advent Applications, and SQL Database Administration.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with additional data integration and automation tools.
- Familiarity with industry-specific reporting standards and practices.
Additional Details:
- Location: Onsite in Bloomfield Hills; potential for one remote day after some time.
- Start Time: 7:00 or 7:30 AM to ensure reports are ready for the team.
- Contract Duration: Anticipated 4-6 months, with the possibility of extension to a year and potential for hire.
