Job Description:
The Cultivation Technician plays a vital role in the growth and maintenance of plants within our cultivation facility. This will be a multi role position which will change due to the day of the week. Two days out of the week will be focused on post harvest production help, two days out of the week will be focused on operating and managing the facilities green waste through our plant muncher and one day will be a floating position based on what room of the grow is needing help the most. This position requires a strong understanding of horticultural practices, plant care, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with various cultivation shaping techniques, the many duties of post harvest production, and being flexible to helping wherever the facility requires. A Missouri State Agent ID badge will be required to work within this cannabis facility, if you do not have one currently you can still apply and if we feel your a good fit we will send you an offer letter which is necessary for you to apply for your agent id badge.
Job Duties:
-Operate our "Plant Muncher" to ensure all green waste both wet and dry are following the state regulation of being sent through a machine shredder, and then ensuring the green waste is being put into the compost bin.
-Hands on helping with the post harvest production crew shucking dry plants and defanning wet plants.
-Cultivation technician type duties floating between the veg room and flower room based on the production needs that often change weekly. Shaping of cannabis plants in many stages of life, aiding in transplanting either clones or established plants into a new pot, cutting down of finished cannabis plants and transporting them to our dry room for post harvest production to start.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
