What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credentialed Veterinary Technician position at Nutramax Laboratories?
This position is a 100% onsite opportunity in Lancaster, SC.
Working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
The Professional Services Veterinary Technician role trains Nutramax Laboratories employees and external representatives to educate veterinary professionals and retail customers about Nutramax Veterinary products.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Technical Support
- Responds to customer inquiries about product technical details in a timely manner
- Responds to emails from customers, sales representatives, and customer service teams regarding product technical information
Technical Services Maintenance
- Maintains the Technical Services product database and FAQs based on current trends and customer inquiries
Training and Development
- Trains Nutramax employees on existing and new veterinary and human products
- Participates in training with the Product Development department on new Nutramax products
- Assists in the development of support materials for new and/or existing products as needed by the Manager of Technical Services
- Trains customer service teams
Administrative Tasks
- Completes AHPAER's as required
- Processes requests for Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Monitors trending data from the field and communicates findings to the Manager, PSVT
- Performs other assigned duties to meet company objectives
Requirements:
- Excellent writing, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams
- Able to deliver effective presentations to adult learners
- Proficient in computer usage, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology or equivalent degree
- Active veterinary technician state license/registration/certification
Work Environment:
- This position requires 10-20% travel for attending conferences and trade shows
