Summary of the Position :
The Marketing Manager – Equine Professionals is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to engage equine professionals, including equine veterinarians, trainers, farriers, barn managers, and other key stakeholders in the equine industry. This role drives segment growth by understanding and targeting unique personas within the equine field, tailoring campaigns to resonate with each audience. The manager is responsible for the commercial value stream and develops targeted campaigns, manages assets, and oversees digital and event-driven initiatives that align with the company’s goals for engagement within the equine professional community. The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Marketing Director, sales teams, internal marketing team, and external vendors to implement strategic campaigns, manage promotional efforts, and ensure high levels of engagement with target audiences.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure all marketing materials maintain brand consistency, acting as a champion for the Nutramax brand across the equine professional segment, including all content and creative assets.
- Develop and execute strategies that engage distinct personas within the Equine Professionals segment—such as equine veterinarians, trainers, farriers, and barn managers—using tailored messaging and content.
- Lead the strategy for the Equine Professionals segment, driving KPIs such as visibility, engagement, impressions, MQLs, and SQLs within the equine community.
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with brand goals specific to equine professionals.
- Manage the creation, organization, and distribution of campaign assets tailored to the equine segment, including digital content, training materials, webinars, and printed resources.
- Develop go-to-market guides outlining the marketing approach, messaging, and execution plans for new product launches or campaigns within the equine market.
- Execute media strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels, optimizing performance with media partners to maximize reach within the equine professional audience.
- Coordinate and manage promotional activities to ensure alignment with marketing objectives and key campaign goals within the equine industry.
- Design and implement lead flow strategies, creating persona-based content (emails, blog posts, landing pages) to convert MQLs to SQLs, guiding leads effectively through the marketing funnel.
- Plan and execute events specific to the equine community, collaborating with Corporate Affairs to strengthen brand presence at industry trade shows, conferences, and equine events.
- Cultivate relationships with influencers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and industry ambassadors within the equine field to enhance credibility and drive brand loyalty.
- Conduct in-depth research on market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights within the equine segment to inform and adjust campaign strategies as needed.
- Track and report on campaign performance and funnel metrics (such as MQLs, SQLs, and closed leads), providing insights on areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
