Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager will oversee a territory within Palm Beach County in Florida, focusing on the sales of veterinary products. This position involves establishing and maintaining relationships with distributor representatives and veterinarians to promote Nutramax veterinary products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ride with and provide product training to distributor representatives and OTC representatives.
- Assist with the launch of new products by ensuring call centers are trained and have the necessary support materials for their customers.
- Visit veterinarian offices to sell products, providing detailed information, samples, and educational seminars.
- Communicate with distributor representatives and schedule meetings.
- Work with Technical Service Veterinarians to schedule meetings with influential staff members at assigned veterinary schools and host symposiums and lectures with veterinary students.
- Visit veterinary schools within the assigned region to keep them informed about pricing and new products.
- Provide timely reports to the home office that include industry-related information and insights regarding changes in the industry and competitors.
Requirements:
- Veterinary manufacturer or animal health industry experience is desired.
- Must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint) is expected.
