What are the responsibilities and job description for the Blending Washroom Operator position at NutraStar Inc.?
Position Description: The Washroom Operator will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our washroom facilities to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for our employees.
- Clean and sanitize washroom facilities including sinks, countertops, and floors to ensure they meet hygiene standards.
- Restock washroom supplies such as hand soaps, cleaning supplies, paper towels as needed to ensure availability for employees.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas according to company policies and procedures.
- Clean and dry all Yellow and Blue drums and place them in the clean Drum Staging area for the team to use throughout the blending operation.
- Monitor washroom facilities for any maintenance issues or repairs needed and report them promptly to your supervisor.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and schedules to ensure all washroom facilities are cleaned thoroughly and efficiently.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling cleaning chemicals and operating cleaning equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of janitorial closets and storage areas, ensuring supplies are properly stored and labeled.
- Collaborate with other members of the facilities team to support overall cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
- Help the team with cleaning the blending equipment as well as Pharmacy equipment and rooms as required.
Requirements:
- Speak, read and write English
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Entry level position, Experience is not required
- At least 1 year in manufacturing or production environment a plus
40 hour work week, Mon - Thurs.
2nd Shift: 3:00 pm - 1:30 am, $18.00/hr.
