What you will do : A specialized area of Corporate Affairs focused on active involvement with the communities in which an organization operates including : Planning and implementing programs to improve the economic, social, and / or environmental quality of life in the community (e.g., community involvement / volunteering, company / employee giving, grant making, environmental clean-up, etc.) Building / maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with local business groups, community representatives, and not-for-profit organizations Coordinating community outreach to promote the organization's image in a positive and community-oriented way (internal events, facility tours, fairs, and other community events) In some organizations the work may also include : Implementing and monitoring performance metrics to demonstrate achievement of corporate responsibility objectives Working with business leadership on approaches for addressing complex / sensitive community issues, targeting locations for initiatives, etc. What you will bring : 5 years in agricultural setting High school diploma orequivalent Ready to make an impact with us?
