What you will do :
- Prepare engineering scopes of work and cost estimates in response to engineering requests submitted by other departments
- Recommend problem solving may include technical and economic evaluations, schedules and detail cost estimates, system and component specifications, engineering sketches and drawings, and safety and environmental impacts and recommendations
- Manage capital projects with responsibilities including : detail design or supervision of contract engineering services, cost control and reporting construction management including plans, organizes, and controls contractor resources, schedules and management status reports, prepare purchase requisitions and bid analysis, and manages startup and training
- Function as a technical advisor and / or a team member to WSA Operations and Maintenance Employee Involvement Teams
- Insure all projects under supervision complies with all environmental and safety rules and regulations
- Perform field quality inspections of project construction and plant equipment which requires the ability to climb ladders, stairs, or inclines; walk on irregular surfaces; and lift moderately heavy parts and equipment
- Develop project management and problem-solving skills under the tutelage of senior project engineers
- Lead / participate in RCAs (Root Cause Analysis) on a periodic basis
- Be fully involved in WS safety program : including JHA, KPAs EBS, Management walk throughs, etc.
