Reporting to the Director, Sales, Industrial Phosphates
What you will do :
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement a sales strategy for a designated customer base that will assist in achieving the overall sales goals while improving the netbacks and profitability of those customers.
- Responsible for yearly sales plan development and monthly forecasting adjustments for key customer accounts.
- Compile and communicate up-to-date competitive market environment data relative to the customer industry and environment.
- Act as liaison between customers and finance / credit department to ensure orders are given proper credit approval and are released for shipment, facilitate new customer setup, and help collect overdue invoices.
- Establish relationships, collaborate, and maintain thorough communication with other Nutrien stakeholders to support sales and service for the customer base while aligning with company strategies (i.e., commercial / marketing, customer experience, and transportation).
- Development / administratecontractual sales agreements and monitoring of shipping performance against contracts
- Investigate and address customer complaints and / or concerns.
- Focus on growing the business in the region, territory, or market segment.
- Strategically analyze market trends to identify new sales opportunities and potential risks for both long term and short term planning.
- Regular travel for customer visits, tradeshows and conferences, and internal meetings.
