NutriTech is looking for a Registered Dietitian (s) to join our growing team. We have 2 part-time opportunities in your area. One is 8 hours a week and the other is 10-12 hours a week.
Pay is very competitive.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide ongoing nutrition support to staff and residents
- Work closely with the facility dietary technician
- Implement dietary care plans
- Provide nutrition consultation to residents, staff and families on nutrition principles, diet modifications and any risks/concerns
- Inspect kitchen and dietary service areas to ensure compliance with food code regulations
- Ensure prescribed diets are followed and meet daily nutrition need requirements. This includes therapeutic and texture modifications
- Review menus for nutritional adequacy
- Be a team proactive team player
- Qualifications and Skills
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently or with members of the healthcare team
- Must have ability to effectively communicate with residents and/ or their families
- Must be licensed with the State of Ohio in Dietetics
- Long Term Care Experience with a comprehensive knowledge of Section K on MDS is a plus
- Must be able to complete clinical assessments and implement nutritional plan of care to help improve patient outcomes and/or quality of life
- Knowledge of menu requirements
- Knowledge of State and Federal Guidelines
