Position Summary
The Vitamin Package Machine Operator is responsible for executing all tasks related to the production of the company's products. Learn the ability to run our packaging machines efficiently and effectively. This full-time position operates under the guidance of the Vitamin Production Manager, following established work methods and safety protocols to ensure efficient and safe production. Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with quality systems and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to uphold product integrity.
- Verify lot numbers and expiration dates to maintain product traceability and quality assurance.
- Run packaging machines within machine parameters.
- Apply lot numbers to individual boxes and maintain records of completed pallets.
- Assist machine operators to optimize production processes.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Perform packaging duties efficiently and assist with other assigned tasks as required.
Work Environment:
This role operates in a manufacturing environment with exposure to fumes, moving parts, and noise. Safety measures are in place to ensure a secure working environment.
Physical Demands and Abilities:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
- Capable of maintaining a standing position for up to 10 hours a day, demonstrating endurance and stamina.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Dependable and reliable with a strong attention to detail.
