We are seeking a dependable and enthusiastic individual to join our cafeteria team as a Cook/Cashier. The ideal candidate will prepare and serve nutritious meals while maintaining a welcoming and clean dining environment. This dual role also involves assisting with cashier duties during service hours.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and serve meals in accordance with the school's menu and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dining area, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate food inventory and report supply needs.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions with efficiency and accuracy.
- Uphold the values and mission of our Catholic school community in interactions with students, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food preparation and customer service is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours. Occasional evenings for special events may be required.
