Nuvera Communications is a leading Minnesota broadband provider headquartered in New Ulm, Minnesota. Nuvera’s state-of-the-art fiber network provides reliable and affordable residential internet service through both fiber-to-the-neighborhood and newly expanding Gig-speed fiber-to-the-home services. Nuvera also provides business services including fiber internet, voice, hosting, and managed services. Nuvera serves residents and businesses in New Ulm, Glencoe, Goodhue, Hutchinson, Litchfield, Prior Lake, Redwood Falls, Elko New Market, Savage, Sleepy Eye, Springfield, Hector, Arlington and Dassel. Nuvera also serves customers in Aurelia, Iowa.
An Accountant will prepare, analyze, and interpret financial information to provide accurate and useful information to management for review and decision-making. The accountant will also ensure the Company is adhering to SOX requirements and make suggestions on process improvements.
The position will include:
- Reporting and auditing financials
- Budgeting (capital and operating)
- Government reporting, PUC reports, and tax filings
- Cash management, credit, and collections, billing cash summary compliance
- Review company operations
- Make suggestions on process improvements
The following skills and experience are preferred:
- 4-year degree in accounting
- 1-year related experience
- Requires intermediate to advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookup functions, linking, and equations.
- Good understanding and interest in technology
Salary:
The salary range for this position is $53,000 - $79,000 per year, based on education, certifications, and experience.
