Job Overview: The Kitchen Associate will work to assist the kitchen team to meet goals and ensure product quality for a variety of different prepared food items.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Fruit and vegetable prep/wash
- Basic knife skills
- Bulk food preparation
- Retrieve product from cooler or designated locations
- Ensure products are prepared to specifications
- Follow safe food handling and personal hygiene.
- Familiar with FIFO procedures
- Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work area using proper cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Adhere to all required tasks and procedures related to safe food handling, preparation, production
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Flexible schedule to work days, evenings and weekends
- Environmental exposure
- Cold conditions (40 degrees or below inside at all times)
Qualifications:
- Kitchen experience recommended
- Ability to work with little direct supervision yet understand when to elevate issues and concerns
- Perform repetitive lifting up to 50lbs -Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be 18 yrs or older
8:30AM-4:30PM
30-40 Hours Weekly
