As a Synapse Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and
implementing scalable and efficient data warehouse solutions using Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics.
You will work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to
understand business requirements and translate them into robust data architectures.
Your role involves optimizing data storage, ensuring data quality, and enabling advanced analytics capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Job Description:
Design end-to-end data Data Warehouse architectures using Azure Synapse Analytics to meet business requirements.
Develop data models, schema designs, and data flow diagrams.
Implement and optimize data structures, tables, and stored procedures within Azure Synapse Analytics.
Ensure data integrity, security, and performance.
Integrate Azure Synapse Analytics with other Azure services and external systems to create comprehensive data solutions.
Implement CI\CD Pipelines for Synapse analytics solutions.
Optimize query performance and data processing efficiency within Synapse Analytics.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Implement data quality standards and governance policies.
Collaborate with data stewards to ensure data compliance and adherence to industry best practices.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts, to understand and address data requirements.
Create and maintain documentation for data architectures, processes, and solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in designing and implementing data solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics.
Strong SQL and T-SQL skills.
Familiarity with data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
Experience with other Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Certifications (Desirable):
Microsoft Certified: Azure Synapse Analytics - Associate
Other relevant Microsoft Azure certifications
