We are hiring for a Human Resources Assistant for a full-time, contract-to-hire position in Burien, WA!
Position : Human Resources Assistant
Location : Burien, WA
Workplace Type : Hybrid Remote; 2 days onsite
Schedule / Hours : Core business hours M-F 8a-5p
Pay Range : $24-27 / hr DOE
The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support and other services to the HR Department. Responsibilities include e-filing, telephone coverage, mail sorting and distribution, information tracking and reporting, ordering supplies, preparing, and distributing reports including evaluations due / past due and performing project duties, as needed, all in accordance with Human Resources Department procedures. The HR Assistant may be relied upon for scheduling appointments for HR leadership.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Support :
- Supports all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests. Is the primary owner of the HR ticketing system.
- Assists with HR projects such as employee surveys, annual performance reviews, Exit Interviews, employee recognition, and ad-hoc projects.
- Assists with performance management procedures.
- Manages communication for the HR department.
- Completes invoice reconciliation and budget preparation for HR operations.
- Sorts and delivers the HR department mail.
- Coordinates training sessions and seminars.
- Assists with resolution of payroll errors.
- Plans and arranges day-to-day workload with other Human Resources personnel in order to provide ongoing support of department needs. Coordinates schedules, meetings, agendas, and events for the HR department.
