Job Title: Travel Nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum
NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a skilled travel nurse to join their team in Salem, Massachusetts.
About the Role
This 13-week travel nursing assignment requires a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP) care. The ideal candidate will work 36 hours per week on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule with one night of call every other week.
Unit Information
- Unit Name: Labor & Delivery/Post Partum Unit
- Bed Count: 5 Labor Rooms, 12 Postpartum Rooms, 2 Operating Rooms, 2 Recovery Rooms, and 2 Antepartum Units
- Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:2-3 for evaluations, 1:1 during active labor, and 1:3-4 for postpartum patients
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in LDRP care
- Strong skills in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Circulate, and Newborn Care
Working Conditions
- Average daily census of 15-25 mothers, babies, and labors
- EPIC electronic medical record system
- No floating required
Compensation
$1798.78 - $2116.21 per week
